Guilt-Free Banana Ice Cream

⁣The temperatures may finally be dropping, but I still find myself craving frozen sweet treats. If you’re looking for a healthy alternative to satisfy your ice cream cravings, this banana “ice cream” recipe does the trick!⁣

⁣⁣⁣INGREDIENTS:⁣

⁣⁣⁣• 2 bananas, peel, slice and freeze overnight⁣

⁣• 2 tablespoons almond butter

⁣• 1 tablespoon cacao powder

⁣• Stevia, to taste⁣

⁣⁣⁣INSTRUCTIONS:⁣

⁣⁣⁣1. In a blender or food processor, add the frozen bananas and blend for about 10 seconds to lightly break apart.⁣

⁣⁣⁣2. Add the almond butter, cacao powder and stevia and blend until smooth. ⁣

⁣⁣⁣3. Transfer to a bowl and enjoy. ⁣

⁣⁣⁣4. Optional: top with dark chocolate chips or nuts. ⁣

⁣⁣Note: If needed, add a small amount of unsweetened almond milk to create a smooth texture. 

⁣Makes 2 servings.
